Volunteers Building Strong, Healthy, and Prepared Communities

Welcome Maricopa County Public Health Volunteers

We are now officially a nationally recognized Medical Reserve Corps

Get Started

Please join us as a volunteer to assist us in accomplishing our mission.

In the event of a public health emergency, volunteers will be needed to assist in the distribution of medication to the residents of Maricopa County. Public health emergencies can be related to bioterrorism, contagious disease or other illnesses. Volunteering begins with Point of Dispensing (POD) training. POD training will give you an overview of why and when PODs will be needed. The training will provide a hands on exercise in POD set up and management.+
